Located in Cleveland, Ohio, Carol is the founder of Spotlight College Consulting and is a private educational consultant with a graduate level Certificate in College Counseling, With Distinction, from UCLAExtension, widely considered one of the top 3 programs in the country. Carol was previously a litigation attorney and received her B.A., with High Honors, from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
Carol found College Counseling to be a natural and logical path, as her passions have always been at the intersection of mentoring students and higher education. Both of her parents were educators — her father was a medical school professor and her mother was triple-certified in elementary education, music education, and physical education. Carol attributes her passions for learning and teaching to them. Her goal is to positively impact students who seek a higher education.
Spotlight College Consulting serves students throughout Northeast Ohio, as well as throughout the United States (including a student who lives on an island off the coast of Washington State!)
